1. The Monorail

Probably the most widely known method of Disney transportation, riding the monorail is an attraction in its own right!  There are two monorail lines in Walt Disney World.  The first travels between the Ticket & Transportation Centre and Epcot.  The second travels to Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian Village Resort.  You can use this monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom area resorts to enjoy their character dining experiences as well.

2. Resort Busses

Resort busses are a free transportation option for Disney resort guests.  These busses transport you from your resort to the various theme parks and Disney Springs.  After a long day, it’s nice to sit back and let someone else do the driving.  As an added benefit, you don’t need to worry about getting lost before you even get to the park!

3. Boats

Ferry boats are a fun and relaxing way to get around Walt Disney World.  They are available in the areas listed below:

– Boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom is available from the following resorts: Grand Floridian Resort, Polynesian Village Resort, Fort Wilderness Resort, and Wilderness Lodge.

Honorary Mention: Magical Express

Getting a taxi from the airport can be a pain.  But as a Disney resort guest you can take advantage of Magical Express.  This shuttle service picks you and your party up from the airport and drives you to your resort.  On the way, you can get some last minute tips for your Disney vacation and watch some classic Disney cartoons.  Plus, you don’t have to worry about hauling suitcases.  Just bring your carry-on bags, and the rest of your luggage will magically appear in your room.
