Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare mixes good food and good fun with character dining. 1900 Park Fare is located at the elegant Grand Floridian resort and offers character dining for breakfast, dinner, and a specialty afternoon tea party. This post is all about Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner.
Before entering the seating area, a Disney photographer will take a photo with your group in front of a pretty castle painting/backdrop, which makes for a nice souvenir. The main dining area is themed after a Victorian carousel, keeping with the theme of the resort.
1900 Park Fare offers a buffet selection of sweet and savoury dishes. The buffet has sections for salads, soups, entrees, and desserts. Items may include: strawberry soup, butternut squash ravioli, peel n’ eat shrimp, and key-lime ginger grilled chicken. The buffet also has a kid’s corner, with favourites like mac n’ cheese and chicken nuggets. It’s hard to do their wide selection justice, but with so many options there is something for even the pickiest of eaters. The food is good overall, but the real stars of the show are the characters themselves.
Throughout dinner, guests have the opportunity to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the ugly stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella. This is one of the few locations where you can meet Prince Charming and Lady Tremaine. Characters circulate the restaurant throughout the evening, stopping at each table to interact with guests, pose for pictures, and sign autographs. Helpful hint: it’s easier to get reservations at 1900 Park Fare compared to other princess dining experiences, making it an excellent alternative if you can’t get an ADR for Cinderella’s Royal Table.
For little princes and princesses, meeting Cinderella and Prince Charming will likely be the main event. But for older guests, it’s the step sisters who bring the fun factor. They make faces for photos, squabble with each other, and seek out eligible bachelors! The interactions are tons of fun for guests looking for some mealtime entertainment. On the whole, the dinner at 1900 Park Fare is a lively experience and a great opportunity to meet Cinderella and co.
